Terms and Conditions
- GT Passport is a part of Skinidin House Media.
- The term “GT Passport” is a registered trademark.
- The GT Passport Business Club serves as a marketing platform for businesses with premises along any of the GT Passport touring routes
- “Tourers” are the users who plan and undertake a road-trip using the GT Passport App and / or Website platform as their guide.
- There are four levels of Business Club Membership:
Tier 1 – Path Finder (£150 inc VAT);
Tier 2 – Trail Blazer (£250 inc VAT);
Tier 3 – Route Master (£500 inc VAT).
Registered Charity (£50 inc VAT) - Where fees apply, payment is made to Skinidin House Media.
- Skinidin House Media reserves the right to deny, block or cancel membership of the Business Club to any business which offers products, services or activities which are illegal, dangerously unsafe, inhumane, sexual or otherwise detrimental to the health and well-being of Tourers, or damaging to the reputation of GT Passport and/ or Skinidin House Media.
- Business Club Membership is best suited to businesses involved in the tourist trade.
- Business Club Membership includes one location. Additional locations may be added for £50 per location.
- If features of Tier 2 or 3 Membership are not available, members who choose either Tier 2 or 3 on signing-up, will only be charged for Tier 1 Membership until the relevant features become available. Notice will be given when the features become available before the membership is upgraded.
Special Offers
- From time to time Special Offers will introduce a reduced rate for Tier 1 membership for a limited period.
- Businesses which choose a higher tier will be charged the applicable rate for Tier 2 or 3 according to their choice of membership tier.
- If features for Tier 2 or 3 Membership are not available, members who choose either Tier 2 or 3 on signing up, will only be charged for Tier 1 Membership until such time the relevant features become available. Notice will be given when the features become available before the membership is upgraded.
Tier 1 – “Path Finder” Membership (£150/Yr inc VAT)
- Tier 1 Membership is the basic membership package which includes features available to all Tiers of Membership, but does not include an official Sign Post (available to Tier 3 Members), or a Merchandise Retail Program (available to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Members).
- Tier 1 membership is available to businesses on or near any of GT Passport’s recommended Driving Routes.
- Tier 1 Membership includes a listing on the GT Passport website and inclusion on the GT Passport App.
- The Listing includes venue contact and location details, information about the business, and images
- Tier 1 Members will receive occasional e-mail updates and information about the routes and services offered by GT Passport.
- Tier 1 Membership entitles members to attend Business Club networking events organised by GT Passport.
- To Sign-up for Tier 1 Membership of the Business Club a business owner or responsible employee, must complete the Business Club Sign-up form to register with GT Passport.
- Online Payments are handled via Pay Pal, and credit card payments are accepted.
- Following initial Sign-up, a welcome e-mail, including a link to the Listing Submission form, will be sent to the member’s registered e-mail address.
- The Listing Submission form will ask for all the text details that will be included in the listings on the website and App.
- Members must complete a Listing submission form in order to be included on the website and App
- Images will be requested separately.
- Listings include up to two hi-resolution images – a primary image and a secondary image.
- GT Passport can arrange for a photographer or route co-ordinator to visit the site and capture the required images if a club member is unable to provide any suitable images of their own.
- Completed Listings will appear on the appropriate route pages of the GT Passport website.
- Tier 1 Membership will be automatically renewed after one year, unless a member requests an end to Business Club Membership via email to info@gtpassport.com, or if the Business Club Member has breached terms and conditions.
- Business Club members will represent the face of GT Passport to touring visitors so must act professionally and respectfully towards GT Passport Tourers.
- GT Passport cannot accept responsibility for any damage, liability or loss to the Business Club Member as a result of the actions or behaviour of Tourers. GT Passport Tourers must be held responsible for their own actions and behaviour.
- Tier 1 Business Club Members may choose to upgrade Tier 2 or Tier 3 Membership at any time by clicking upgrade on the Business Club Page of the GTPassport.com
- Online Payments are handled via Pay Pal, and credit card payments are accepted.
- Invoices may be sent out to Business Club Members for BACS payment if preferred and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Listings will not appear in the app until payment is received.
- Cooling-Off Period: Once Payment is made there is a 14 day cooling-off period during which the Business Club Member may withdraw their membership and receive their payment back in full. After the cooling-off period the full annual membership fee applies for the remainder of the year.
- Eleven months after Business Club Membership is activated, or renewed, Members of the Business Club will be offered the opportunity to renew their listing, or will be reminded that auto renewal is in place.
- When Business Club Membership is not renewed Tier 1 Members will be removed from the site and App.
Tier 2 – “Trail Blazer” Membership (£250/ Yr inc. VAT)
- Tier 2 Membership includes all the features of Tier 1 Membership.
- Tier 2 Membership entitles the business club member to retail official GT Passport Merchandise.
- Tier 2 Business Club Members may choose to upgrade to Tier 3 at any time by clicking upgrade on the Business Club Page of the GTPassport.com
- When Business Club Membership is not renewed Tier 2 Members will be removed from the site and App, and will be removed from the Merchandise Retail Program.
Tier 3 – “Route Master” Membership (£500/ yr inc. VAT)
- Tier 3 Membership includes all the features of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Membership.
- Tier 3 Members will receive a customised, non-permanent GT Passport Sign Post, to be placed inside or outside your premises, in a public space, where users may take a “selfie,” for example, to document their visit on their social media.
- When Business Club Membership is not renewed, Tier 3 Members will be removed from the site and App, and will be removed from the Merchandise Retail Program. Their Sign Post must be returned to GT Passport. Typically this will be collected, at no cost to the Member, by the GT Passport infrastructure team within a year after non-renewal of membership.
- Damage to, or loss of the Sign Post, beyond normal wear & tear or weathering, will result in a replacement fee of £250.
Registered Charity (£50/ Yr Inc. VAT)
- Registered Charities may join the business Club at a reduced rate to enjoy all the features available to Tier 1 Membership.
- To sign up as a charity, please enter the registered charity number for your organisation in the sign-up form. One of the GT Passport Admin team will performs checks to ensure charity status is accurate.
